Michael McGinnis works independently as an end product producer and does not maintain a staff of landmen on stand by. If called upon, Michael can access his more than 7500 professional industry connections to assemble a team to tackle any due diligence and onboarding assignment.

Michael McGinnis has been involved in land services and producing reserves acquisitions since he an a colleague wrote the first definitive book about due diligence for the acquisition of producing reserves. Michael served as President of Texas Energy Advisors, Inc. a Dallas based land and gas marketing consulting firm involved in most basins in the United States.
His clients have included, small individually owned independent producers, family minerals, and estates, as well as, participating in due diligence projects for several major companies and large independents. Lately, Michael has worked with other land services firms to fill out their due diligence rosters for large projects.
He has has held management positions with both majors and independents of all sizes. MX2 Energy Company evolved from McGinnis Land Services which was formed in 2002.
